Associate Offensive Cyber Analyst

Are you a DV cleared Offensive Cyber Analyst looking for contracting opportunities?  

We are seeking Associate Offensive Cyber Analysts to add to our associate pool and support on future client projects. Working alongside our skilled permanent employees you will support us to ensure enduring competence for our clients.   

We are a growing and successful multi-disciplinary consultancy, providing services primarily into the Defence, Aerospace, and Cyber sectors. As a member of our Associate network, you will offer exceptional technical expertise and share our core values of Excellence, Innovation, Trust and Integrity. We are looking for people experienced in: 

Strong grounding in cyber threat intelligence and adversary tracking.

Hands-on experience in red teaming, adversary emulation, or offensive security.

Deep understanding of TTPs and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.

Familiarity with offensive tooling (e.g., Cobalt Strike, Sliver, Metasploit) and evasion techniques.

Ability to translate intelligence into meaningful, client-relevant testing scenarios.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in client-facing environments.

Threat Led Pen testing.

Attack Surface Mapping experience.

Located within a commutable distance to Bristol.

Current right to live and work in the UK.

Current DV clearance.

Able and happy to travel to client sites when needed.

Associate projects are a mix of inside and outside IR35 roles, defined by our clients and the package of work you are supporting. Please share your preference when registering.

We are looking for expertise that include one or more of the following:

Experience in Project Management and Project Controls, including:

Supporting project delivery through planning, monitoring, and controlling
Successfully delivering all contractual requirements within agreed budgets and to performance standards
Interacting with project teams to define, interrogate, and develop the scope of work
Demonstrate practical experience in portfolio, programme, and project controls
Provide estimating, cost control, planning and scheduling, and risk management expertise

Supply chain management, including:

Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain management roles, working with a full end to end supply chain – from sourcing to contract placement
Skilled in leading consultative project interventions
Experience of Digital Supply Chain transformation

Other Requirements

Happy to work inside IR35
Southwest location desirable, however not essential
Willingness and ability to travel to client sites when required
Current SC or DV clearance

Military Signals Instructor - Contract

Whitetree is seeking an experienced former Military Signals Instructor based in Dorset to join our specialist delivery team on an upcoming outside IR35, circa-12 month contract.

This is a delivery-focused role (DSAT Element 3)—ideal for individuals who thrive in structured training environments and take pride in delivering high-fidelity, standardised instruction that directly enhances operational capability.

You will play a critical role in delivering Communications & Information Systems (CIS) training across secure and high-risk environments, supporting national capability.

The Role

As a Trainer, you will:

Develop lesson plans in line with the agreed lesson specifications and the assessment strategy
Develop assessments in line with the assessment strategy and assessment specifications
Deliver DSAT-compliant training in line with approved lesson plans (LPs), training objectives (TOs) and enabling objectives (EOs)
Facilitate engaging, structured training across: CIS systems and communications protocols, operational coordination and command principles, and secure, complex working environments
Deliver both classroom-based sessions and scenario-led practical exercises
Conduct learner assessments and provide clear, structured feedback
Maintain strict adherence to training design
Cooperate and coordinate with, and contribute to, ongoing evaluation and assurance activities
Conduct Train-the-Trainer activities to enable an enduring, client-led solution

What We’re Looking For

Essential

Former Military Signals Instructor
Proven experience delivering training within a DSAT environment
Strong CIS background, including:
- Communications systems
- Operational coordination
- Secure environments
Experience delivering structured, lesson-plan-driven training

Desirable

Control room or operational communications experience

Qualifications

Military instructional qualification (e.g. Defence Trainer Capability)
Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent)
Currently SC cleared
