Our Training Solutions team is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Training Consultant with a background in Defence or Defence Industry, preferably specialising in Maritime. This position presents an exceptional opportunity to join a highly capable team.

The role
Join a team of experts who combine cutting-edge techniques with a customer-centric approach to develop tailored training programs that deliver tangible value for our clients. Day to day, you will work with clients providing specialist training consultancy services including:
- Authoring high-quality training proposals and reports
- Developing DSAT-compliant Training Needs Analysis
- Designing training programmes and materials
- Conducting training evaluation
- Collaborating with client senior management, stakeholders, subject matter experts and colleagues
Experience, qualifications & skills required
Consulting experience would be beneficial for this role, however as a proud employer of veterans we are also keen to hear from those completing their Navy service. You will however need a comprehensive knowledge of and practical experience in identifying and translating military and/or safety critical Industry training requirements into training solutions, including:
- Use of JSP 822 and TNA Standards identified by the Maritime Acquisition Training Line of Development (MATLOD)
- Human component of Defence Capability and impact on training
- Development of Competence Frameworks
- Development of Maritime TNAs that consider:
- The development and application of mental/physical skills and behavioural attributes.
- Competence retention and its psychological components
- Method and media analysis
- Through-life cost and training risk analysis
- Conduct of Training Design that includes:
- Development of Design stages 1,2 & 3 elements; Formal Training Statements and component parts, Assessment and Learning Specifications
- Appreciation of multiple media development and design
- An understanding of the SAT/ADDIE methodology from Analysis to Evaluation
- Experience in the analysis and design of SAT-compliant Individual Training
- Offer evidence of practical experience in the conduct of TNA in support of Team and Collective Training
- A proficient understanding of Defence Integrated Logistic Programme
- Current right to live and work in the UK
- Current SC clearance or willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check*
- Happy to travel
