The Role
As part of our agile team, you’ll make a critical impact on the business and our clients, showcasing your Systems Engineering capabilities. You’ll deliver a diverse range of Defence projects with the opportunity to dive into adjacent markets as we grow and diversity beyond the Defence sector.
Our Solutions Engineering team harness cutting-edge Systems Engineering and Solution Architecting expertise to provide clients with streamlined solutions. Your day-to-day role will include:
Skills & experience required
You will need a strong, systems engineering background, adaptable engineering skills, passion, and an output focused and collaborative mindset including:

Experience in the adoption and application of the V model systems engineering process.

Experience of user and systems requirements development, definition, decomposition, system design and integration, verification, validation and demonstration of acceptance processes

Delivery of testing and acceptance management including ITEAP and V&V activities.

Experience of working collaboratively as part of an integrated systems engineering and project team(s) with experience in the delivery & acceptance of complex engineering systems

Proficiency with Systems Engineering tools, practices and methodologies including a working understanding of the INCOSE Systems Engineering Book of Knowledge (SeBOK)

Experience of MBSE (and SysML) and with an MBSE tool (eg Sparx EA/Cameo/Dassualt) would be desirable.

Also desirable is experience of Enterprise/Solution Architecture, UML, ArchiMate or Bizzdesign Horizzon.

Skilled in client and end user engagement, experience of working collaboratively with project managers, engineers, specialists, supply chains and stakeholders to ensure the system design is developed to meet customer requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly orientate, derive and present simplicity from complexity

Committed to keeping up to date with systems engineering technologies, tools, established best practice and novel technology

A bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical / Electronics Engineering or a related field or equivalent qualification

Registration or Incorporation with the Engineering Council and membership or affiliation with a recognised Engineering body is desirable

Current right to live and work in the UK

Current SC clearance or willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check

Willingness and ability to work from home and travel for client engagements, including overnight stays away from home around the UK when required
