The role
As part of our Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the Technical Services Director you will lead and grow our established Decision Support capability, doubling our skilled team of data and digital specialist consultants and our revenue within the next two years.
You will lead a skilled Decision Support team delivering insights and unlocking answers to critical client questions across major UK defence programmes and frameworks, with exciting opportunities for growth into the Health, Nuclear and Energy sectors.
You’ll bring deep expertise in UK defence, government, health or energy, along with the leadership and consulting skills necessary to continue to shape and grow our Decision Support services capability. With a strong network and proven track record in driving capability development and sustainable business growth you’ll lead the achievement of revenue growth, a solid business opportunity pipeline and the cultivation of a supportive, inclusive and inspiring team environment.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Providing exceptional team and technical leadership including work allocation, performance evaluation, coaching, recruitment, staff training and mentoring.

Collaboration and Business Development: Working closely with clients and colleagues to identify and secure new opportunities including leading bids, shaping proposals, and building a strong, sustainable pipeline to meet ambitious growth targets.

Innovation and Improvement: Fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, excellence and continuous improvement for the Decision Support service line, Whitetree and its clients.
Key Requirements

A proven leader with a background in digital and data services, with a track record of driving growth and performance in UK Defence, Government, Health, Nuclear or Energy.

Proven skills in Data Science and Data Governance

Proven experience in delivering measurable client outcomes through Data Driven Decision Making and Digital Transformation

Proven functional skills across Operational Analysis, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence & Data Visualisation that support measurable client outcomes

Financial and commercial acumen, skilled in proposal development and estimating, budget management and cost control, able to meet company KPI’s (revenue, utilisation, margin etc).
