Associate Training Consultant - Hybrid

We are seeking Associate Training Consultants with experience in identifying and translating military and/or safety critical industry training requirements into training solutions.   

The Role   

We have opportunities for Training Contractors with a background in Defence, Rail, Health or Energy to support upcoming projects.  Join us and combine cutting-edge techniques with a customer-centric approach, you’ll assist in the development of tailored training programs that deliver tangible value for our clients. Day to day, you will provide specialist training consultancy services including:   

• Developing SAT-compliant Training Needs Analysis (DSAT/ADDIE models).  

• Analysis in both individual and collective environments  

• Designing training programmes and materials   

• Conducting training evaluation   

• Collaborating with client senior management, stakeholders, subject matter experts and colleagues   

Contract Details  

• Upcoming project work is likely to be outside IR35 (this is to be confirmed) 

• Daily rate of £300-£400 

• Start date expected January 2025 

• Minimum 1 month contracts with extensions likely  

Experience, qualifications & skills required   

• An understanding of the SAT/ADDIE methodology from Analysis to Evaluation   

• Experience in the analysis and design of SAT-compliant Individual Training   

• Practical experience in the conduct of a TNA in support of Team and Collective Training  

• Experience gained in the Defence, Rail, Health or Energy sectors is essential   

• Maritime sector experience is highly desirable  

• Use of JSP 822 and DTSM (Defence Training Support Manual/s 1 - 6) is highly desirable  

• Development of TNAs that consider:   

• The development and application of mental/physical skills and behavioural attributes   

• Competence retention and its psychological components   

• Method and media analysis   

• Through-life cost and training risk analysis   

• Cost Benefit Analysis  

• Conduct of Training Design that includes:   

• Development of Design stages 1,2 & 3 elements; Formal Training Statements and component parts, Assessment and Learning Specifications   

• Appreciation of multiple media development and design  

• Strong client focus, a skilled communicator with stakeholder management skills  

• Able to support the delivery of successful client projects and undertake tasking autonomously meeting quality standards and deadlines  

• Consulting experience essential   

• Current right to live and work in the UK  

• Current SC clearance or willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check*  

• Happy to travel
